Jeremiah Vijey

Lead Pastor

Born and raised in North York, Ontario, I grew up in the church as a pastor's kid, which planted a love for ministry in me from an early age. Before stepping into leadership, I served in the church, and over the past 12 years have had the privilege of being in pastoral leadership. I studied Commerce with a specialization in Marketing, am currently furthering my education in ministry, and joined The Olive Branch in 2021 as youth and young adults pastor. My greatest passion is pouring into people: helping them encounter Jesus and discover the gifts He has placed in them.

Outside of ministry, you can usually find me with a coffee in hand, lost in good music, cheering loudly for my Toronto teams, or hanging out with my Bichon Poodle, Austin.

Fred Penney

Teaching Pastor

My wife, Valerie, and I have four adult children and six grandchildren. I’ve been a pastor since 1987. Before studying theology and pastoral ministry I completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree. I completed the Doctor of Ministry (Preaching) degree in 1999 from Gordon-Conwell Seminary in Boston.

Since 1999, I having been teaching part-time at Tyndale University and overseas. I was born on an island, I live on Scugog Island and I believe no one is an island (—J. Donne). I was born on the Rock (Newfoundland) and my life is built on the Rock (Jesus). My hobbies include gardening, woodworking and table tennis.

Johnny Cheung

youth pastor

Johnny is really excited to be in his Youth Pastor era. He previously pastored a church for 12+ years, overseeing children, youth, young adults and family ministries... and pretty much everything in-between. He’s SO glad he can simply focus on his passion: Youth Ministry!

Johnny holds a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Ministries with a concentration in Cross-Cultural Communications from Tyndale Seminary. Johnny is blessed with an incredible wife and four young children, loves being a dad, and lives with the misery of being a Toronto sports fan. (Ugh!)

Anne Ison

Children's Pastor

I’m married to Jonathan who is a wonderful, gifted drummer & we’ve been with each other since High School. We have one creative and beautiful daughter, and a grand-dog who is a blue heeler/border collie in our lives.

I studied Marketing and Merchandising, working in Toronto Companies and in Sales Promotion & studied Art and Graphic Design working in studios in Vancouver.

I was raised in The Salvation Army, loved serving in various women’s ministries, and have been working sharing God’s love in wonderful children’s and youth ministry for over 35 years.

I adore God’s world in nature, animals, art, creating events, gardening, cooking and time with my nieces and nephews!

Kelly Davis

Branch Out Coordinator

Having grown up in the church I learned early on that I loved working with children and helping others. Whether it was at church or in the community, I have tried to live my life serving others as Jesus did. My love for Jesus and desire to impact others led me to pursue a teaching career and invest in the Church.

I have the privilege of being one of the founding members of The Olive Branch and watching God grow it to what it has become today. When I am not teaching or at the church you can find me spending time with family and friends or enjoying the outdoors especially in the summer.
