Sundays at 10 am
In this season of Lent, as we move toward Palm Sunday, the cross, and the resurrection of Jesus, we turn our hearts and minds to who Jesus is and what His identity demands of us. Through His “I AM” statements, Jesus reveals His true self — the God who makes Himself known.
March 1 • “Beyond Bread”
John 6:1-69
Jesus said, ‘I AM the Bread of Life’
In this life, we all hunger for something more.
In John 6, Jesus makes a bold and startling claim: “I AM the Bread of Life.” He doesn’t just offer nourishment — He offers Himself. “Whoever feeds on me,” He says, “will live forever.” What does it mean to receive Him as our sustenance? What kind of hunger is He speaking to?
March 8 • “The Light Eternal”
John 8:12
Jesus said, ‘I AM the Light of the World’
Jesus declares, “I AM the light” — not just a light by which we see, but a light that gives life to all that we are. How does this brilliant truth impact our lives today; for now and for all eternity?
March 15 • “I AM the Good Shepherd”
John 10:1-18
Jesus said, ‘I AM the Good Shepherd’
In Psalm 23 King David wrote “the Lord is my Shepherd.” Now, in John 10, Jesus identifies himself as this “Good Shepherd” and speaks of his coming sacrifice on the cross to protect and save his “sheep” and his defeat of death by his resurrection.
March 22 • “I AM the True Vine”
John 15:1-7, Isaiah 5, Galatians 5:22-23
Jesus said, ‘I AM the True Vine’
In the Old Testament, Israel was called God’s vine, but it failed to bear the fruit God desired. In John 15, on the night before the cross, Jesus says, “I am the true vine.”
“Abide in me,” he invites us, “for apart from me you can do nothing.” Real change, real life, real fruit love, joy, peace (Galations 5:22-23) flow not from striving, but from staying connected to him.
What does it mean to abide? And how does that connection actually transform us from the inside out?
