Olive Branch

Sometimes we catch a glimpse of our lives. We see the insatiable crowds of holiday shopping, the dreary crawl of traffic, the flickering glow of television, credit card debt, church routine, the addiction to our schedules, and lawn maintenance, and texting, and coffee, and entertainment...

And sometimes we read the Bible, and we read the things Jesus said. And we wonder if we're missing something. We wonder if there might be more? Considering what the world is now. Considering what Jesus said. Considering what He did, and what He died for. We wonder, for just a moment, if we are sleeping...
