Roots groups are a special part of The Olive Branch. They are small groups (usually
6-12 people) that meet weekly or bi-weekly to study the Bible, pray for each other, and support each other through the ups and downs of life. We have groups for all ages
and stages,and would love to help you find a group that is right for you!

| MORE THAN A GOOD BOOK Bible Study | |
| We all know we should read and study the Bible, but sometimes we just don't know how to start! While some passages bring us great joy AND peace ("The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want..."), others seem confusing ("The master commended the dishonest manager because he had acted shrewdly"), irrelevant ("don't plough to the edge of your fields") and sometimes horrifying ("the anger of the LORD burned against the people, and he struck them with a severe plague.") But with some basic background and guidelines, the Bible comes alive! | NEXT SESSION: |
| The "More Than a Good Book" Study offers everyone a chance to increase their understanding of the Bible and their confidence in reading and studying it on their own or in small groups. The Study walks through each section of the Bible, providing a general overview of the history and type of writing to help open up the meaning... and even more importantly, their relevance to today. Conveniently scheduled one Saturday morning a month (9:00 AM - 1:00 PM), it even includes a free pizza lunch! Your TIME to start studying starts NOW! | Please let us know |
